Thomas J. Synhorst
Tom Synhorst is a trusted advisor to leaders at the highest levels of business, government and politics. He is also a successful entrepreneur who has founded and managed a wide range of businesses including telemarketing, direct mail, database management, real estate and internet start-ups that have resulted in profitable ongoing concerns. Mr. Synhorst is a co-founder of GoodSijn I and GoodSijn Management, L.L.C. Mr. Synhorst has focused his career around identifying trends and backing talented individuals to start and run companies, non-profits and political organizations.

Mr. Synhorst is currently Chairman and a founding partner of DCI Group. Formed in 1997, DCI Group is one of the largest and most innovative public affairs firms in the United States. DCI Group's clients are among the largest companies in the world, and the firm has established itself as an industry leader worldwide. Since its founding, DCI Group has grown from a six-person operation with one client to a firm with more than 130 employees, with offices in Washington, D.C. and Phoenix, Arizona.

Prior to co-founding DCI Group, Mr. Synhorst served as a Senior Advisor to Senator Bob Dole (R-Kansas) from 1988 to 1996, and orchestrated Senator Dole's victory in the Presidential Iowa Caucuses in 1988. Before this, he worked over a period of ten years as Campaign Manager, Finance Manager, and Special Assistant to Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). Mr. Synhorst is a graduate of Iowa State University.
